by Catherine Martin was selected for the official competiton at the 45th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The film opens in Quebec on August 13.

by Robert Morin - After a 6-week run in Montreal, the film heads for independent theatres elsewhere in Quebec, as well as the Canadian and international festival circuits. Among others, it has been selected at the 14th Festival Écrans Noirs in Cameroon and the 7th Festival du DocuMenteur de
l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

SAINT-MALO - BAMAKO

Director Catherine Hébert has reached the end of an eight month shooting on her documentary/road movie. After crossing Spain, Morocco and Senegal, she finally reached Bamako, Mali and is now back to Montreal.

OVER MY DEAD BODY

by Brigitte Poupart, a documentary about choreographer Dave St-Pierre, is now in editing.

PINOCCHIO

The latest feature documentary by André-Line Beauparlant is now in production.

PRIX COOP VIDÉO 2010

This year’s award went to Samer Najari for his short film LA NEIGE CACHE L'OMBRE DES FIGUIERS. The award was presented at the Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois.
