Danielle Leblanc

Producer

Biography

A graduate of the Université de Montréal in film studies and communications, and of U de M's business school, Les Hautes Études Commerciales, in arts administration, Danielle Leblanc has, for over 13 years collaborated on many independent films, dramas and documentaries as production manager, coordinator or studio director. During this period, she worked at Vidéographe, before becoming coordinator of the Coop Vidéo. Since 2000, she has divided her time between producing documentaries and managing Productions Nathalie Derome, an interdisciplinary-arts organization. In early 2006, after two years as president of the Board of the Coop Vidéo, she became its managing director. In 2007, she rose to a new challenge by becoming the general director of PRIM (Productions Réalisations Indépendantes de Montréal), while resuming active service on the Coop Vidéo Board. Danielle Leblanc produced André-Line Beauparlant's three documentary features, Trois princesses pour Roland, Le petit Jésus and Panache.
