Virginie Dubois

Following my undergraduate studies in theatre at the Université de Québec à Montréal (UQAM), is first and foremost my passion for the individuals and teams that led me to work on various projects, both on stage and in production. I did a bit of everything: acting, costumes, sets, etc. I then worked with producer Jean Lemire for almost four years: first in post-production at Animavision, then in production at Poly-Productions.

Then, Jean and I joined the team at Max Films. I worked there in documentary alongside such directors as Kun Chang, Jean Chabot and Jean-Philippe Duval. Then, I participated by turns in public-affairs management, production management and artistic coordination for the annual event, Sensation Design, from 2001 to 2003. During this time, I also made several appearances in film and television productions and on stage, where I played a number of major roles under the direction of, among others, Ruth Stewart, Katia Gagné and Josée Roussy. In December, 2004, I decided to join the Coop Vidéo team as their coordinator, much to my great pleasure and satisfaction.
