Synopsis

Drama, video, 29 mins., colour and black-and-white, 1992, Québec, Canada, French

In a ghost town, abandoned after the mine that supported its inhabitants closed, two men with a turbulent past have refused to join the exodus, and prepare to spend winter in complete autarky. On day one of their new Republic, a leak in their hermetic world reveals an external threat. Convinced that their village-state has been struck with a plague, they decide to scour the deserted town to root out the pest they imagine is gnawing at them.
